Economical replacement for high-wattage incandescent lamps

HWL-R mercury mixed-light lamps from OSRAM are used predominantly in plant lighting. They can be used instead of incandescent lamps because they do not need either a ballast or an igniter. These lamps have an yttrium-vanadate phosphor and a much longer life and higher efficiency than incandescent lamps.
