The 300,000 m² facility features 60,000 OSRAM QUICKTRONIC 4x18W Electronic Control Gear units. Lighting with ECGs means that the power consumption is 4,200 kW which is 1,200 kW or 22% less compared to an installation utilizing Conventional Control Gear. The owner, Petronas, a public oil company, saves approximately 360,000 ? annually. Based on 3,000 burning hours per year, the investment has a pay-back period of less than 3 years.
